Honore Ave thru to Bee Ridge Rd...
NOW or never?
Welcome to the website for Twenty plus of our neighborhoods, at I-75 Exit 210
and Fruitville Road, that have come together to form a neighborhood alliance.
The Fruitville 210 Community Alliance is a true “grassroots” multi-neighborhood organization. We
are coming together and looking for equitable solutions to the complex development issues that
are now facing our local communities. We are NOT anti-growth, anti-capitalist, or anti-American.
We want everybody to prosper citizens, elected officials, and developers. Only by communicating, compromising, and working together, will interested parties be able to enjoy all the benefits that
this great Country has to offer. In order to maintain or improve our “quality of life”, we, the people (homeowners and taxpayers), must have a voice in the development process. Without a voice, we
might be faced with unwanted or unsustainable growth- the type of development that places even
more congestive traffic on our local streets and compromises public safety. We believe that our
elected officials and the land developers who seek to build in our own backyards can be our partners
in that quest. Someone once said, “The biggest danger to a democracy is apathy by the people.”
I encourage everyone in the Fruitville 210 Community Alliance neighborhoods to participate.
It is our civic duty and right. We too can have a legacy. Thank you for your valuable support.
Sincerely, John Krotec - Current Chair, Fruitville 210 Community Alliance
